It wasn’t until I studied the science behind it that I was able to tone my bloated underarms.

Secret #1:   Focus On How Strong Your Arms Are

The arms are so important for our whole physical presence.

We need them in order to do so many things.

When you focus on what’s positive about your arms, they are going to respond to your actions in a positive way.

Re-framing your relationship with this part of the body can do wonders.

Every time you do anything that requires you to use your arms, give them the appreciation they deserve.

Say “Thank you, arms. I am able to carry my child.”  or “Thank you, arms, I am able to work today.”

How you think about your body and how you talk to it is EVERYTHING!

Witness your arms respond positively to your exercises and all the other health choices you make as you appreciate them more every day.


Secret #2:  Build Muscles For Toned Underarms

When you increase your muscle mass, you decrease fat.

We want to build muscles and to use our muscles — muscles that work for you!

You need to build muscles in your ENTIRE BODY, not just in the underarms section.

The statement that we cannot spot-reduce fat is true.

The underarm flab is there because there is a certain percentage of body fat covering your entire body.

As you increase the muscle mass percentage of the body, the body fat percentage decreases all over.

When you achieve this, you will not only get those toned and sexy underarms that you’ve always wanted, your entire body will be lean as well.


Secret #3:  Keep Your Arms Moving

Building muscles makes your arms stronger.

But it’s not all about strengthening this part of the body.

You also have to keep the mobility of the arms.

You need to keep them moving.

The flexibility of the arms is equally important.

You want to tune in to your shoulders, elbows and wrists.

Secret #4:  Healthy Balance In Your Hormones Is Key

For years, I couldn’t understand why I would still have bloating in my underarms even if I was doing everything right.

I was exercising and eating clean and still, the underarm flab was there.

That’s when I started studying Hormones.

What I discovered was that the underarm flab is a sign of having too much Estrogen in the body.

This was a big AHA moment for me!

Estrogen is a female hormone.  When our estrogen levels are too high it causes irritability, mood swings, depression and yes, underarm fat.

Unfortunately, it’s not just our bodies that are producing estrogen.

Toxins in the food we eat and in the products that we use everyday such as shampoos, face creams, soap, etc. can also mimic the hormone, estrogen.

They are called “Xeno Estrogens” and they can contribute to causing underarm flab.

So what you want is to lower the amount of estrogen in your environment by avoiding the chemicals in these products as much as you can.

Go for natural and organic products that don’t add to the amount of estrogen produced by your body.

There are so many of them out there and it’s just a matter of finding what works for you.

These are the secrets to toning your underarm flab.

I discovered them through years of studying the science of the body and through my own experience.

Fat Melting Recipe “Seared Tilapia Fillet”

If you think fish dishes are boring, think again…

A good source of lean protein and omega 3 fatty acids, the Tilapia can help reduce inflammation all throughout the body.

This delicious dish is loaded with other vitamins and minerals including calcium…and yes, it’s 100% Fat Melting too!

Try this for your next meal and let me know what you think…


1 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
dash of pepper
dash of salt
a pinch of dried dill weed of parsley
dash of paprika
4 Tilapia fillets


1.  In a saucepan, combine coconut oil, garlic, pepper, salt, dill weed and paprika.

2.  Heat over low heat until coconut oil is melted and starts simmering.

3.  Remove from heat.

4.  Brush a little of the coconut oil mixture in the bottom of a shallow baking dish (line baking dish with foil if desired).

5.  Place Tilapia fillets on the oiled area.

6.  Brush top of each Tilapia with seasoned coconut oil mixture.

7.  Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes until Tilapia flakes easily with fork.

* Serves 2

Overcome Your Weight Loss Plateau

Let me ask you this: Where are you now in your weight loss journey?

After seeing your weight come off and your clothes fit better than ever, do you feel that your weight loss has stopped and that there is no progress anymore?

You continue dieting and working out but somehow when you measure yourself, you see the same results.

You haven’t lost an inch.

 How To Breakthrough A Weight Loss Plateau

A weight loss plateau is when your body stops losing weight, your fat cells stop shrinking, your cravings come back and your emotions that you were suppressing are now coming back to the surface.

Scary, right?

Being on a plateau could be even more frustrating than if you were never able to lose the weight in the first place.

It’s because you’ve had a taste of what it’s like to accomplish something that you thought was impossible.

Unfortunately, so many women give up at this point.

I want to tell you now that this is all part of a healthy weight loss journey.

It is an opportunity to learn what’s really going on inside your mind and your body.

If you can ride this out, you can actually go to a greater point.

This weight loss plateau is an opportunity to ask yourself these questions.

‘Why do I have these cravings?’ 

‘Am I filling a void in my life?’

‘Why am I running to food to fill what’s inside my heart?’

‘Why do I care about losing weight in the first place?’

When you ask questions like these, this is when the real work comes in.

Your body is inviting you to go deeper within yourself.


Starvation diets can make you lose weight temporarily and it can give you such a high.

It’s like a drug, and you want more of it.

But you will hit a plateau.

At this point, maybe you’ve become so obsessed about how to get that high back.

So you go on your starvation diets again.

When you don’t get the same results, maybe you start to take pills.

Then you hit the plateau again so you start to take more pills or even turn to surgeries.

Well, guess what, you will still hit the plateau. I know because I have been through ALL of this.

Unless you are prepared to accept that you will go through plateaus in your weight loss journey, you will still be a yo-yo dieter.

Until you do the internal work of really finding out the answers to these questions, you will still end up giving up when you hit this stage of the journey.

Dealing with these issues and discovering the answers to these questions will help you ride through the plateaus quicker.

Remember, that the universe or your beliefs would not give this to you now unless you were ready.

So welcome it because the more you run, the harder it’s going to be.

Riding out the weight loss plateau is one of the most powerful steps that you can take in your weight loss journey.

This is the time that you get to know yourself even more so you can continue losing weight.

You will also be able to keep it off because you have already dealt with the issues inside of you.

So hang in there.

Change things up if you want.

Find what motivates you.

Remember to never give up because this too shall pass.

Wherever you are right now in your weight loss journey is exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Take the weight loss plateau as what they are meant to be…an opportunity for you to go from this point to something even greater.

Make time to ask yourself these questions and really go deep to discover the answers.

There’s no need to rush.

Fat Melting Recipe “Deviled Eggs”

Eggs are some of the most versatile power foods out there.

They are packed with protein, healthy fats and lots of other vitamins and minerals.

They are easy to cook and you can bring them anywhere.

Give a delicious spin to these fat-melting eggs with this great recipe.


6 hard boiled eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise or mayonnaise alternative (for the recipe, click here)
1 tsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. yellow mustard
1/8 tsp sea salt
freshly ground pepper
Paprika for garnish



1.  Peel hard boiled eggs.

2.  In medium bowl, mix together all ingredients.

3.  Fill hard-boiled eggs with mixture and top with Paprika.

Fat Melting Recipe “Mayonnaise Alternative”

I love Mayonnaise!

But most of the brands on the market have chemicals and processed additives.

This recipe is a healthy alternative to store bought mayonnaise.

It’s all natural, rich in flavors and packed with healthy fats, and ingredients that boost your metabolism.

Enjoy it on any dish that you like!



1 cup plain Greek yogurt *
* dairy free options: Medium Firm Silken Tofu or Coconut Creme (allow a can of full-fat coconut milk to settle (about 1/2 hour). The coconut cream will rise to the top and can easily be skimmed off.)
1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. yellow mustard
2 dashes hot pepper sauce
1/8 tsp. dash white pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. salt



1.  Blend all ingredients well and adjust seasoning to taste.

2.  Refrigerate after making.  Saves up to 5 days.

* You can substitute yogurt with silken tofu or the coconut cream as descried above with a dash of water.

The Truth About Sugar

Sugar is one of the most chemically processed products in the market.

It goes through about 20 different processes which includes bleaching!


Most of the modern average diet is full of processed foods and they are loaded with sugar.

When you consume this much sugar, your body creates more  fat cells to protect you from this toxin.

Preventable diseases like Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Obesity, Depression, Heart Problems and many more are impacted by sugar in your system.


Why Is Sugar So Addictive?

Sugar is chemically designed to make you go into a euphoric state.

You feel that rush of dopamine or what they call the ‘sugar high.’

However, once the sugar wears off, your body crashes.

They actually think that they quit sugar, but in reality they continue to consume it.

They are not aware that in these products are the creative code names that the manufacturers use to sneak in the hidden sugars.

These manufacturers do not want you to know that they are putting sugar in their products so they use different names to disguise it.

They feed you sugar without you knowing it so you will continue to buy more and more.

It’s a simple business model.


How To Break Sugar Addiction

1. Read  The Label At The Back.

This is the only place where manufacturers are obligated to show ALL the ingredients of the product.

2. Educate Yourself.

Be aware that manufacturers use different names to disguise sugar.

Anything that ends in ‘OSE’ means there is sugar in it.

Examples are Lactose, Fructose, Dextrose, Glucose, Sucrose.

3. Count Chemicals, Not Calories

When you see a product with an ingredient that you don’t recognize, you might as well skip it.

It is most likely a chemical or a hidden sugar.

4. Avoid Bringing Toxins In Your Home.

If you’re bringing those toxins in the home, you are never going to allow your body to detox from the sugar.

You will still have cravings because the sugary foods and drinks are too accessible.

5.  Go Through 3 Days Without Sugar.

This sugar detox will allow your body to heal.

You will notice that you will crave sugar less and less.

Responsible Way To Take Pills

Here’s a quick history lesson for you…

In the 1960’s, the pharmaceutical companies started to explode.

Different types of medications were introduced in the market.

It was also around this time when taking pills for just about anything began to really take off.

There were pills to feel better, sleep better, lose weight and many more problems that humans face.

Name it, and there’s most likely a tablet or a capsule for it.

The idea of popping pills to “make your problems go away” is so seductive and attractive.

But we have to be aware of the deeper psychology that is going on here.


Dangers Of Weight Loss Pills

“Pill Psychology”  is the idea of putting all your hope into a pill and the belief that the pill is going to save you.

I still see smart, educated, successful and brilliant women get sucked into this mentality.

Some just see an ad on the internet or hear about a friend who is taking some supplement and they do the same.

Many women pop these pills to lose weight but then they go out and eat hamburgers, fries and sugary foods and they think that these pills can do the work for them.

These pills are marketed as vitamins, supplements  and energy boosters.

However,  they are not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration or the FDA.

Nobody watches out for the integrity of what’s really in these medications.

Thus, the manufacturers can put anything on them without any obligation to disclose ALL the ingredients.

By the way, some of them are definitely toxic.

Now, I’m not saying that all pills are dangerous.

There are still some that are truly medicinal and can help to eliminate systems and even cure illnesses and disorders.

The real issue here is that if you are taking these pills without knowing the baseline of your hormones, enzymes, blood sugar levels, cholesterol, etc. then you will never know how these pills are truly effecting you. 

This is what I believe is missing  in our culture –  personal responsibility.

When you start to take responsibility for your health, you will no longer be tricked or scammed.

You will be able to avoid putting toxins in your body.

You will stop searching for something outside of yourself to fix your problems, and you will begin searching for the source of your issues that can only be found within yourself.

Responsible Weight Loss

What To Do:

  • Before you take any pills, go to a doctor to get a prescription for your blood work.
  • Work with a trained physician who will monitor your blood work to determine whether you are low on specific vitamins or if you have any condition that needs to be addressed.
  • The physician then prescribes you with the right medication and dosage for your condition.  Preferably choose an Integrative Medicine Doctor because they are aware of the highest quality medicines or supplements.  These pills are certified organic, third party tested and the prescribing doctors have done ample research on them.
  • Take them for 90 days and then do a blood work test to see how the supplements are affecting you.
  • Have regular visits to your doctor so your blood work and your health can be monitored.


This is the ONLY responsible and conscious way of taking pills.

Pills should be uniquely prescribed. 

Not every human needs the same thing.  No two humans are the same.

When you take them blindly, it will possibly do more damage than good.

When you take a pill without awareness, it can take away the most important part of the journey which is the confidence of knowing that you’ve got the strength inside of you to overcome anything. 

Your body is YOUR responsibility.
