Practice The Art Of Self-Love

Have you gone through the cycle of self-sabotage, starvation diets and filling yourself with potions ad chemicals?

It is all about Practicing the Art of Self-Love.

Loving yourself is accepting your body as it is right now.

The more you love your body, the more health, abundance and healing you have.

You will have more energy, enthusiasm and happiness in your life.

 

There are so many simple ways that you can give yourself the love you deserve.

MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF.
A few minutes of walking a day can do wonders.
Meditating in the morning can give you peace that can bring about clarity.
A warm bath can rejuvenate your body and your spirit.
Getting a relaxing massage can heal you from all your aches and pains.

GIVE YOURSELF THE GIFT OF FORGIVENESS.
Take your past dieting mistakes as opportunities to make better choices.
Stop beating yourself up for the unsuccessful outcome.
Put the past behind, forgive yourself and get ready for a new journey ahead.

FEEL COMPLETE AS YOU ARE.
It’s not about finding the right guy that completes you.
You are whole and complete as you are.
When you have that sense of completeness, you will attract a person who also feels complete.
You don’t want to attract someone who is not whole.

ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE IMPERFECT.
Learn to laugh at yourself and love each flaw you have.
Don’t judge yourself according to what society says you should be.
Stop measuring yourself up against other women and feeling inferior.
We all offer something different and we are all one of a kind.
If things don’t go according to your plan, the best thing you can have is some humility and laughter.
It is an adventure after all and enjoying every step is part of it.

 

Practicing the art of self-love is a life journey.

It really is about giving yourself the love and appreciation you deserve.

When you  take a personal inventory of how far you’ve come in your life as a person who is committed to self-love and healing, that’s when you can really get that dose of self esteem.

When you love yourself, it is truly the best gift you can ever give and receive.

There’s nothing more beautiful than a woman who loves herself.

Through all her flaws, struggles, triumphs and victories, this woman is truly the brightest light.

Honor Yourself First

You look in the mirror and notice how much weight you’ve put on.

Your face is bloated and your stomach is sticking out.

Nothing in your closet fits anymore.

And every day, you beat yourself up thinking that it’s all your fault.

Today, you may have awakened to the reality that you are struggling.

You have so many challenges that you need to overcome.

It may be your sugar addiction or your frustration over not having that “perfect body”.

You feel like a failure.

I say, it’s time to forgive yourself and start taking charge of your body and of your life.

These are all part of the journey.

At this moment, your body is telling you there are toxins inside it.

It wants you to welcome the challenges that it brings.

Because it is only in challenges that we actually discover our true strength.

So whatever stage in your journey you are in right now, remember that you are empowered to decide.

Say Bye-Bye To Stress

Stress is all around us.

From the constant ringing of our phones, going through heavy traffic, work deadlines, a messy house when you get home…it’s everywhere.

We see lots of reasons to be stressed out each day and we all know that this won’t serve us in any way.

It is particularly unhealthy to be in a constant state of chaos when we are going through our own weight loss journey.

I’m sharing with you a simple and effective tip that can turn things around.

It’s something you can do any time, any where and you won’t even have to lift a finger to do it.

Can you guess what it is?

It’s SMILING.

Buddhist monk and author, Thich Nhat Hanh wrote, “Sometimes, your joy is the source of your smile, but sometimes your smile can be the source of your joy.”

And I couldn’t agree more.

Research has shown that smiling releases endorphins which are natural pain relievers and seratonin, the hormones that boost your mood and mindset.

It soothes tension that you feel when you’re stressed out and it can lower your blood pressure too.

Put the Fun Back in Fitness

If you’re not having fun, you’re not going to stick with it.

This is why diets and other weight loss programs don’t work.

Who would want to be around anyone who’s starving themselves, going through extreme diets and exercising until they couldn’t stand anymore?

They are  so moody, so irritable and they are not fun to be around.

Putting back the fun in fitness and health is the key to making it a lifestyle.

Do you remember the time when you were a kid and could not get enough of playing games and winning prizes?

Losing weight could be exactly like that if you want to.

Make a game out of it and give yourself prizes in the process.

First, set your target – your short term and long term goals.

When you hit your target, give yourself something that you enjoy.

You can buy yourself a new dress or hit the town for a nice meal.

Give yourself anything that makes you feel rewarded.

Playing games with friends is always fun.

Eliminate Cellulite The Natural Way

Cellulite is a common body issue that most women struggle with.

They are these pockets of fat found usually at the back of the thighs.

The fat cells are poking up through the connective tissue, thus giving the skin a dimply and wrinkly cottage cheese-like look.

There are so many products out there promising to help you get rid of cellulite.

From cellulite creams…to laser treatments…to pills that melt fat…

….practically anything that can persuade you to shell out a buck or two or even hundreds to smooth out that stubborn cellulite.

They may work but the results definitely don’t last that long.

I have found a 100% natural and healthy way to erase cellulite.

It doesn’t cost anything too.

It’s called Inversions.

Inversions are when you take some part of your body and you turn it upside down.

When you invert, you are actually turning your entire circulatory system upside down.

What happens is the valves inside of the veins that normally would run one way for hours would get totally relaxed and unclogged.

You’re going to get way more blood, way more circulation and then that is going to allow the connective tissue to stay open.

You can start with lying on the ground and putting your legs up against the wall.

Main InversionsYour legs are then inverted.

Try doing this for 15 minutes every day as a start and work your way up to more minutes and other kinds of inversions.

For those who practice yoga, you can do a bridge pose or a headstand.

Just make sure you have a professional with you when you do these advanced yoga poses.

You will feel and see a significant change in the appearance of your cellulite as you do this regularly.

Simple Kale Salad

Fat Melting Recipe “Simple Kale Salad”

Wonder why there’s so much buzz over Kale ?

It’s a great source of fiber, healthy carbs, vitamins and minerals  that you need to feel light and energized all through out the day.

Try this easy-to-make, flavorful salad and it will definitely put all your doubts about this green leafy veggie to rest.

So simple, yet so delicious!

Ingredients:

1 bunch kale, washed
1 tbsp. virgin olive oil
3-4 red onion slivers
1 tbsp. almond slivers
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

Thoroughly wash the kale, and cut or tear into small pieces.

Place kale in large mixing bowl and gently massage olive oil into the leaves. (This softens and moistens the kale for the best texture.)

Main Simple Kale Salad

Next, toss in the onion and almonds.

Season with sea salt and black pepper.

Bring In the New Year with Confidence

New Year = New Beginnings

It’s a time to start over.

It’s a time to forget the past.

Like so many women, you may have made excuses for why you don’t get in shape at the present moment.

One of the biggest things I hear women say is “I will love my body when I am a size…”.

And I wonder… Where is the acceptance?  Where is the love?

The many diets, extreme exercises and radical cleanses just didn’t seem to work.

Your body still felt like it’s broken.

That there is absolutely no hope to get the body that you deserve.

Believe that that’s about to change.

There’s no better time to start feeling confident than NOW…this new year.

Body confidence gives you the motivation to continue on this journey.

Start falling in love with your body and realize how amazing it is right now.

Enough of the negative body talk, the shame and the guilt.

Face the mirror and say “I love my body and I’m about to love it even more.”

Your mind, body and spirit will lead you to begin writing your own success story.

It’s a New Year.  Start accepting and loving your body as it is right now.

This is so weird to say this… it has been a dream since I was a little girl to be on the cover of a magazine! And now, at 36 years old it has come true.

I trained hard, removed all toxins from my diet (including sugar, alcohol and chemicals) for 6 months in order to get ready. On the day of the shoot, I showed up leaner and more toned than I’ve ever seen my body. What an incredible journey this has been.
